Ph.D. or M.S. student positions: Dudnik group is currently recruiting new members! Interested graduate students should contact Alex via e-mail about research projects in the lab. Students who join the group will have excellent opportunities for training in organic and polymer chemistries, materials science (including device fabrication and testing), and biomedical imaging techniques.
Undergraduate students: Interested UC Davis students are required to take lecture (CHE 128A-C) and laboratory courses (CHE 129A-C) in organic chemistry, taking CHE 135 is strongly encouraged. Undergraduate researchers are expected to commit at least 20 hours per week for research.
Postdoctoral positions: Extensive experience with synthetic organic chemistry, catalysis, glovebox techniques, and standard characterization methods (NMR, IR, UV-Vis) are required. Additional expertise in polymer chemistry, organic electronic materials, and advanced characterization techniques such as DSC, GPC, XRD, TEM, AFM, etc. are a plus. Interested and qualified applicants should send a CV with a list of publications and three references and a summary of previous and current research interests to Alex via e-mail.
